A little extra information about me:

I am a design and visual arts graduate in illustration. This site is meant for promotional reasons, and is purely for show. If you would like anymore information please email me on the email address posted on the index page to this site.

Design work:

As you may be able to see, my websites are very design orientated, and I work mainly with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and currently I am furthering my skills in Macromedia Flash - so expect a flash site soon. I am also a keen photographer and enjoy taking photographs of a large range of different things, I especially enjoy using the macro mode of my camera, I find it amazing being able to see such detail that you normally would never be aware of.

Key inspirations for me are layout/book design, and Japanese design. I enjoy working with layout, hence the websites, so I also have interests in corporate design, posters, magazine design, leaflets, flyers, business cards etc etc. My style is to be clean and clear, combined with purity and beauty - The Japanese Keiri posters are a key influence here, where Keiri is literally translated as meaning a thing of beauty.

Illustration work:

The style that I use for my illustrations often changes per brief, I have no set way of working and will often be sensitive to the type of project at hand. So if I were to get a brief from, say New scientist, I would design an illustration that is appropriate to the employers' needs. If the brief requires a more free approach, with the use of textures, perhaps found, photocopied, or cut objects then I will incorporate them into the image.
